SERL 2013 > Presentation

This year, Strasbourg is hosting the 9th edition of the “Ecology & Behaviour” scientific meeting. This event focuses on advances in Ecology, Ethology and Evolutionary Biology. It is organized by and for master’s students, PhD candidates and postdoctorates, and aims to encourage scientific exchanges between the researchers of today and tomorrow.

Oral communications will be organized into 6 half-a-day sessions:

- Hormones and Behaviour

- Evolutionary Ecophysiology

- Foraging and movement Ecology

- Ecological consequences of environmental change

- Physical and social cognition

- Group living and social interactions

Each session will be introduced by plenary talk given by specialists in the field. All communications (talks and posters) will be given in English.

As was the case for all Ecology & Behaviour meetings, in order to encourage a wide and stimulating scientific exchange, attendance is free for all students and includes accommodation and breakfasts and lunches. The participants have just to take charge of their travel to Strasbourg.

Due to limited space in the conference room, priority will be given to participants having a communication (talk or poster).

The organizing team warmly thanks the sponsors for their support, as well as all the people who offered us their expertise so as to bring this project to a successful conclusion. We also thank the participants for their contribution to the success of this 9th edition of the “Ecology & Behaviour” scientific meeting.
